Your nails are tiny canvases. They don’t have to match anyone else’s idea of style. Bring us your inspo pic, a favorite color, an outfit for a wedding, or any other idea you have been thinking about! We will help turn it into a nail design you’ll be so excited to show off.
Unlike traditional nail studios, Katie’s Healing Hands strictly offers dry manicures and pedicures. This eliminates the need for the bulky, ugly tubs for soaking. Our staff pampers you the way you deserve with custom care, including hot towels, steam treatments, and more as you recline in our comfy cozy chairs and unwind during your visit. Bring a blanket or headphones for the extra comfort you love!
Manicure Services
Gel-X Manicure
Gel-X manicures are a fairly new type of nail treatment that gives you the strength of gel and the length of acrylics, minus the damage to your natural nails. These manicures are finished with a polish color of your choice. NOTE: Please remember to add Nail Art to your booking if you wish to add a design to ensure you have enough time with your nail artist to complete your nail art.
Hard Gel Manicure
Similar to a Structured Gel Manicure, Hard Gel is a strong, non-porous enhancement perfect for nail extensions or for people who are hard on their hands. This type of gel polish must be filed off (it cannot be removed with acetone). NOTE: Please remember to add Nail Art to your booking if you wish to add a design to ensure you have enough time with your nail artist to complete your nail art.
LENGTH OPTIONS: Hard gel requires a sturdy nail length. If you want to add length, please book a GelX Manicure or select the appropriate nail length when booking a Hard Gel Manicure. Questions? Give us a call at 319-343-0160.
Structured Gel Manicure
Gel enhancements fortify natural nails when combined with gel polish, resulting in a durable, long-lasting gel manicure. This is an excellent option for clients wishing to strengthen their natural nails! NOTE: Please remember to add Nail Art to your booking if you wish to add a design to ensure you have enough time with your nail artist to complete your nail art.
Spa Manicure
Treat yourself with the basic self-care you deserve! A Spa Manicure is a dry manicure including cuticle and nail care, filing, shaping, massage, and application of traditional or gel polish. NOTE: Please remember to add Nail Art to your booking if you wish to add a design to ensure you have enough time with your nail artist to complete your nail art.
Paraffin Hand Treatment
Designed to soothe and rejuvenate, our Paraffin Hand Treatment includes a massage and warming gloves. It's beneficial for arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, joint pain, and general soreness, leaving your hands feeling moisturized and pampered.
Our staff will offer specialty nail art designs upon request as an additional service to any manicure or pedicure. Additionally, Katie’s Healing Hands can offer clients a sugar scrub for an added manicure experience, nail repair services for any recent breakage (up to four nails), and a nail trim as necessary. We can also provide soak-off nail removal for first-time clients or a full removal.

Spa Pedicure
Enjoy our infamous dry pedicure with warm towels between each step. Begin with a heating pad for your neck and relax in our zero-gravity loungers. Complete nail and cuticle care to start, followed by callus removal and a sugar scrub. Followed by a relaxing leg and foot massage. Completed with your choice of polish and cuticle oil. (adjust as needed)
Express Pedicure
Indulge in our Express Pedicure for a quick pampering session that ensures a professional look and feel as you walk out the door! Treat yourself to affordable luxury with meticulous cuticle care and a flawless regular or gel polish change.
Paraffin Foot Treatment
Designed to refresh tired feet, our Paraffin Foot Treatment includes a relaxing massage and warm booties. The gentle heat may help ease joint discomfort, stiffness, and general soreness while deeply moisturizing dry skin, leaving your feet feeling soft, comfortable, and pampered as you walk out our door after your appointment.
Premiere Pedicure
Spoil yourself with the most incredible pedicure of your life! Begin by selecting your favorite aromatherapy oil while you relax with a warm neck wrap and cooling jade eye mask. Followed by complete nail and cuticle care, foot filing, and an extended relaxing foot massage. This luxurious treatment also includes hot towels, an exfoliating sugar scrub, a nourishing steam-activated foot mask, a soothing hand and arm massage, and a polish application and hydrating cuticle oil for the perfect polished look.

Meet Logan.
Logan is a licensed nail technician and esthetician with nearly a decade of salon and spa experience. She specializes in personalized nail services and custom designs that reflect each client’s style, personality, and current obsession. A veteran of the Iowa Army National Guard and former healthcare professional, Logan loves helping clients feel cared for, confident and polished. Outside the studio, she enjoys crafting, reading, and life in Urbana with her husband and four children.
Meet Kit.
Kit is a licensed cosmetologist and nail artist specializing in detailed, hand-painted designs that transform every manicure into something uniquely personal. Inspired by ’90s nostalgia, classic cartoons, and all things creepy, cute, and sparkly, they love bringing each client’s ideas and current obsessions to life. Kit creates a welcoming, comfortable space where creativity has no limits. Outside the studio, they enjoy spending time with their partner and dogs, playing video games and reading.
Meet Rian.
Rian is a licensed nail technician specializing in Gel-X extensions and creative nail art. A Capri College graduate, she joined Katie’s Healing Hands in summer 2026 and is always exploring new techniques, trends, and ways to grow her skills. Rian brings her love of beauty, creativity and content creation into every appointment. Outside the studio, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, grabbing coffee and finding her next creative project.
